Wharfedale Interiors are one of the region’s leading fitted and bespoke furniture makers. From their showroom on Leeds Road in Ilkley, they design, manufacture and install kitchens, bedrooms, home offices, lounges and bespoke projects across Yorkshire.

Due to continued growth of the business, they have now expanded to take on a dedicated manufacturing facility in Ilkley. The move will provide 3,000 sq ft of workshop and storage space including two offices for the management team.

Along with the new building they have invested heavily with new machinery and equipment being added to improve efficiency and quality of their work.

Local MP, Robbie Moore, was delighted to open the new building officially, saying:

“These guys are really one of the success stories of the last few months. The new unit will provide jobs in the local area for local people. High-skilled, well paid jobs for people with a passion for what they do. It’s exactly what Ilkley needs and it’s fantastic to see a business thriving.”

Rhys Boven, Managing Director of Wharfedale Interiors, said:
“The move to the new building was the obvious move for us with the demand we are receiving for our services. It will completely change the way we work and operate, improving efficiency and most importantly allowing us to continue to expand the businesses.

It was great to have the support and time from Robbie, discussing ideas and the plans he has for the local community. Positivity is definitely what is needed right now with a lot of uncertainty in all industries and businesses.”
