On Thursday 19 August Lookers Kia Newcastle, Railway Street dealership is offering Newcastle drivers an exclusive first-hand opportunity to see Kia’s latest all-electric car, the EV6.
The EV6 ‘Electric Experience’ is a limited viewing event starting from 4pm until 8pm, perfect for anyone eager to find out about Kia’s latest innovations in electric car technology.
The EV6 offers astonishing charging times as low as 18 minutes from 10-80 per cent battery. With super-speed charging capabilities, the EV6 can travel up to 316 miles, the equivalent of Newcastle’s Tyne Bridge to Tower Bridge’ London on just one charge.
The car available in four grades – GT-Line, GT-Line S, and GT, is the first of several electric Kia vehicles due for launch over the coming years based on the E-GMP platform, which is developed explicitly for electric vehicles.
Electric vehicle savvy pre-bookers will be able to meet the Kia EV6 roadshow experts and meet Lookers Kia team members to register ahead of the first UK customer deliveries starting in October.
Lookers Kia Newcastle general manager Craig Myhill is looking forward to an event which will help to change perspectives on electric vehicles and find the ideal car to make the switch from petrol or diesel to electric.

Starting from £40,995 the electric car comes with impressive technology as standard including, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, as well as rear and all-wheel drive options that see EV6 able to tow up to an impressive 1,600kg.
The nationwide tour will see the new flagship Kia EV6 travel throughout the UK including Newcastle, Stockport, Belfast, Newtownabbey, and Chester from August through September.
