Lookers Volkswagen Northallerton the best in the business when it comes to looking after its customers

A Lookers Volkswagen dealership in North Yorkshire has been voted number one in the country for its aftersales services.

The site in Northallerton was voted the top provider of repair and maintenance services in 2018 by Volkswagen themselves at an event held in Stockholm.

Volkswagen annually ranks those departments within its retail partner network that have demonstrated world class customer care.

Underlining how important Lookers Volkswagen Northallerton values customer service, the dealership’s sales department was ranked 4th in the country, with its insistence on a positive customer experience highly rated by the judges.


With all areas of service given impressive marks by Volkswagen, the Northallerton site was ranked 3rd overall in the UK by the car brand.

The judges acknowledged several areas where the dealership excelled, including new and used car sales performance, its commitment to the Volkswagen standards and maintaining a clean, comfortable, warm and welcoming dealership.

The dealership has slowly been moving up the rankings since 2015, starting out at 185th before rocketing to its now lofty third place position.

Staff were recently visited by Kevin Rendell, Head of Volkswagen Aftersales, who was there to thank Service Manager George Blake and his team personally, even rewarding George with a trip to Cuba for his contribution to the Volkswagen group.
