Leading Bury-based financial planning service Mackenzie Financial Planning is celebrating its third year of sponsorship of leading arts centre The Met, by holding a networking event with a difference at the venue.

Mackenzie are inviting business leaders across the borough to mix business with pleasure and join them for an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour at the stunning, award winning venue, nationally acclaimed for its vast programme of events.

The evening takes place between 5.30pm – 7pm on 17th September, where guests will have the opportunity to network and enjoy drinks and nibbles before being treated to an exclusive backstage tour.

Having recently undergone a multi-million pound refurbishment, The Met incorporates two modernised performance spaces, popular dining restaurant Automatic, and Edwin Street Creative Hub which includes a Recording Studio. It supports the social, cultural and economic development of Bury, nurturing talent and providing support through community-based workshops.

As a charity, funding is vital for The Met and the venue relies on sponsorship and financial donations from local people and business to enable them to continue their good work.

Mackenzie Financial Planning is based in The Exchange, just minutes from The Met, and founders Paul Jones and Jane Holt are passionate about the arts, regularly attending events and Jane singing in local choir The Harmony Belles.

Jane Holt said:

“This event is set to be one to remember and guests may even be treated to an impromptu performance or two from the groups who benefit from this creative space”

Victoria from the Met said:
