Manor Walks Shopping and Leisure

Manor Walks Cramlington is launching a new, monthly food and crafts market to encourage people to buy local.

The shopping centre’s first Makers and Bakers Market will take place both indoors and outdoors on Saturday 9th February from 9am-5pm with over 25 traders taking part.

The event, held in partnership with events2gogo, will showcase local produce, artisan gifts, handmade jewellery and crafts from a range of independent traders from the North East.

Visitors will be able to shop, grab some food from street vendors and enjoy a family day out at Manor Walks while supporting local traders and businesses.

Bruno Coppola, General Manager at Manor Walks Shopping and Leisure, said: “We are delighted to be launching our new Makers and Bakers Market event to offer our customers something different every month whilst complimenting the current retail mix in centre.

“In the current climate it is important to encourage people to support their local traders and businesses. By shopping locally you are not only keeping money within your local economy, but you are also investing in your local community.

“It is also the perfect opportunity to purchase a unique and special gift for your loved one for Valentine’s Day.”

Manor Walks will be holding its Makers and Bakers Market on the second Saturday of every month between 9am and 5pm.

The dates for this year are – Saturday 9th February, Saturday 9th March, Saturday 13th April, Saturday 11th May, Saturday 8th June, Saturday 13th July, Saturday 10th August, Saturday 14th September, Saturday 12th October, Saturday 9th November and Saturday 14th December.
