March 7 HR Network puts spotlight on employment tax

Keebles is hosting a HR Network on topical employment tax issues at its Sheffield office on March 7.

Guest speaker Christine Robinson, head of employment taxes at BHP, will equip attendees with tips on key areas including termination payments, employee loans, national minimum wage and allowances.

Charlotte Ollerenshaw, an associate in Keebles’ employment department, said: “As the new tax year approaches, this topic is very relevant. Christine is a former Inspector of Taxes for Inland Revenue and advises businesses on a range of employment tax matters including pension salary sacrifice, employment status, termination payments and expenses.”

The session is the latest in a series of HR Networks hosted by Keebles’ employment law specialists who advise businesses and individuals on contentious and non–contentious matters.

Previous sessions include giving attendees an insight into improving their decision making and managing sickness absence.

The HR Networks are aimed at HR professionals, business owners and senior managers who manage a team or teams of people.

To book the March 7 event at Commercial House, Commercial Street, Sheffield which runs from 9am-10.30am and includes networking and breakfast, contact Charlotte Ollerenshaw on 0114 276 5555.
