The Marketing Centre grows Yorkshire team

The Marketing Centre, the UK’s leading provider of proven part-time marketing directors, has appointed another top marketer to its growing Yorkshire team.

Viv Jebson, who is based near Huddersfield, has over 30 years of strategic marketing and management experience and is a former head of marketing at Bon Marche and marketing director of Simon Jersey. She was also managing director of Sutcliffe Play in Pontefract, where she led the transition to employee ownership, and of the Art & Craft Factory in Huddersfield, where she oversaw the move into the consumer craft market.

Viv joins an expanding regional team at the Marketing Centre, which provides businesses with access to part-time marketing directors with a proven track record of growth.

Viv says: “I believe that every business deserves access to first class marketing. I’m looking forward to working with different businesses in and around Yorkshire, helping them to achieve their growth plans and aspirational goals or even plan for a big exit.”

Ged Leigh, who leads the Marketing Centre’s Yorkshire team, comments: ‘Viv’s senior-level experience in marketing together with her track record in leading companies through periods of change makes her ideally placed to help others to grow and transform their businesses.

“Her appointment highlights the continued growth of the Marketing Centre’s team in Yorkshire. We are seeing increasing demand for our services, in particular from ‘scale-ups’ – ambitious businesses in the £5m to £50m turnover range which may have limited in-house resources but are seeking high-level marketing expertise to help them take their enterprise to the next level.”
