Mediaworks expands with 12 new recruits

With continued client acquisition and an office expansion in the coming months, there has never been a better time to join our talented team of marketers here at Mediaworks. With yet more growth on the horizon, we have recently welcomed 12 new recruits to the business. This recent recruitment includes a fresh batch of ambitious apprentices.

Emma Fielding has joined Mediaworks as a Business Development Manager. She has hit the ground running and is already generating some promising leads for the company. While studying Business Management at Northumbria University, Emma founded her travel and tech start-up app, CompareMyTravel. The app gained major financial investment and allowed her to work closely with leading travel operators.

Jonny Mackley has also joined the company as a Digital Marketing Executive. Jonny graduated with a BA in Journalism from the University of Sunderland and has previous experience of working for a newspaper in Copenhagen. He also has experience as a food and culture editor for a local magazine. Jonny has joined our outreach team and brings a wealth of connections to help ensure that our clients gain the best online coverage.

Adding another head to our PPC team, Tom Chandler studied Business Information Systems (BIS) at Northumbria University. Recently, he completed his master’s degree in E-Business at Newcastle University. With experience of working for local tech companies, Tom made the transition to Mediaworks where he now delivers exceptional paid results for a range of different clients.

Natalie Newton has joined Mediaworks as a Content Marketing Executive, where she will help streamline the creation of infographics and interactives which will secure great online coverage for clients. As a recent graduate of Northumbria University, Natalie also gained experience at other leading UK companies and spent her summer jet-setting around the world!

We’ve also welcomed two new Business Development Executives in the recent weeks, too. Adam Ford and Josh Gerrard will support our BDMs to identify exciting new business opportunities.

To help university students get the experience they need before and after graduation, we offer paid internships here at Mediaworks. Recently, we welcomed passionate filmmaker, Vlad Cocos to the business to help document our company events. He has done such a good job that we’ve extended his time here at our head office in Newcastle.

We’re not shy about bringing in a new batch of apprentices here at Mediaworks with the help of Baltic Training either. This year, we’ve welcomed Jack Johnson and Reece Collingwood to our outreach team, and Josh Brown to our SEO team. All three will be studying for their Level 3 in Digital Marketing. As well as this, Dan Kingston has joined the project management team as a Level 4 Business Analyst apprentice.

We like to reward our apprentices who work hard too. William Hill and Georgie White, who recently completed their Level 3 in Digital Marketing, were both offered full-time contracts at Mediaworks before their apprenticeship had ended. This shows that there are plenty of opportunities if you have the passion and drive to do the job!
