NOF, the business development experts for the energy sector, has seen an uplift in new members joining the organisation looking to maximise on the opportunities in the Oil & Gas and Offshore Wind markets.
An increase in membership of almost 40 businesses in the last quarter follows an upturn in Offshore Oil & Gas activity and the growing opportunities for diversification into the Offshore Wind sector.
NOF supports the supply chain across the global energy sector to help identify new business opportunities and earlier this year, following the introduction of a new brand, focused its support on key business development services, to provide members with an enhanced membership package which helps identify new opportunities and build new connections.
More than 60% of the new members highlighted NOF’s business development service as the main reason for joining. The service supports them with future business plans and identifying business opportunities throughout the UK and around the world.
NOF facilitates thousands of targeted introductions every year between members and energy sector partners, with more than a third of the new members highlighting this as a key benefit and along with its extensive calendar of events, as key reasons for joining.
Showcasing products and services at its high-profile energy sector conferences and exhibitions along with organising focused market briefings were also considerations influencing the new members.
