MEPC Unveil Latest Project

Developer and Asset Manager, MEPC, has today announced the opening of its brand-new meeting, conference and events space – The Terrace.

Located just a few minutes’ walk from Leeds Station, the new, unique space is set to meet the growing demand for high-quality event space in the city, both for businesses based at Wellington Place and other companies in the region.

Situated on the fifth floor of the recently completed 3 Wellington Place, The Terrace offers a variety of well-appointed and flexible meeting spaces, complete with high quality fixtures, including floor-to-ceiling windows and direct access to the impressive roof terrace, which enjoys fantastic views over Tower Square.

Boasting four purpose-built meeting and conference rooms, The Terrace can accommodate anywhere between 1 and 150 people, ideal for hosting larger events, or more intimate meetings, and will be run by specialist property management company, Ashdown Phillips & Partners.

With stationery, unlimited hot drinks and water, snacks, wipe boards and audio-visual facilities included when booked, every detail has been considered. What’s more, catering and phone and video conferencing can be provided on request.

Dominique Simcox, Head of Customer Experience at MEPC Wellington Place, said: “We’re incredibly excited to be unveiling The Terrace. Not only is it set to be a real asset to the Wellington Place community, but the wider region, offering a flexible and impressive event space for a whole range of occasions and needs. We hope that it will expand the networking opportunities available to the region and entice more businesses to consider expanding or relocating their business to Leeds city centre.”

Nikki Godding, Associate Director at Ashdown Phillips & Partners, added: “It showcases the very best the Wellington Place development has to offer, and the addition of the roof terrace means it’s unlike any other meeting, event and conference space in the city. We can’t wait to support businesses in bringing their meetings and events to life in this incredible new setting.”

Meanwhile, work continues across the development with the imminent completion of 7 & 8 Wellington Place, expected at the end of 2019. The construction of 4 Wellington Place is also ongoing, which will offer 156,000 sq. ft. of Grade A office space, of which the office space has already been pre-let by the Stars Group with 22,000 sq. ft. of ground floor retail/leisure space remaining.
