Now in its 19th year, the Amazon Growing Business Awards recognise the successes and achievements of the UK’s most established and respected SME’s and entrepreneurs.

Over the past 10 years, ATG Access has been investing heavily in its exporting strategy, and has increased its export business 30-times in value, supplying over 40 countries with its security products.

ATG has recently expanded into American markets after dispatching its new surface mounted barrier innovation, Surface Guard, to the US in response to the terrorist attack in New York. Hundreds of Surface Guard units were shipped to the US in November to deter possible attackers from targeting crowded locations.

Revenue from exports continues to grow quickly and the company aims to surpass £10 million worth of sales per annum in the next year.

Gavin Hepburn, sales and marketing director at ATG Access, said: “Being crowned Export Champion at the Amazon Growing Business Awards is a huge achievement for us. We’ve just celebrated 10 years of exporting success for our portfolio of road blockers, bollards and vehicle barrier systems so, it’s fantastic that our efforts have been recognised through these prestigious awards. This award comes at the perfect time for us as we work to expand our services to even more countries.

“By tackling global security concerns with innovative new products like Surface Guard, we hope to continue our growth in export markets in years to come and make the world a better and safer place.”
