Naked Noodle partners with Leeds Chinese Community Association to host Chinese New Year celebrations

On Friday 16th February, authentic convenience food manufacturer based in Leeds, Naked Noodle, is bringing Chinese New Year to Leeds city centre with Chinese lion dances and a traditional Fortune God appearance, performed by the Leeds Chinese Community Association (LCCA). The LCCA is a registered charity that own and maintain the Chinese Community Centre, providing social, cultural, recreational and educational activities for Leeds’ Chinese community.

Taking place at Briggate between 12pm and 4pm today, visitors to the city centre will be able to watch authentic Chinese performances, whilst receiving free pots of Naked Noodle product. Naked Noodle will also be operating a Chinese New Year photo area, where passers-by have the opportunity to win a year’s supply of Naked Noodle product.

Mike Benton, Head of Snacking at Symington’s, said: “We’re thrilled to be partnering with the LCCA to celebrate Chinese New Year. Not only are we able to showcase traditional Chinese performance in Leeds, but we’re also supporting a really great charity. Being able to do this at one of Leeds’ main shopping streets means that we’re able to create amazing impact, with Naked Noodle hosting a fantastic day of celebration!”
