We are just about to embark on a really exciting new project which involves building a new IT platform; reengineering all of our processes with the future in mind. We have an amazing core team already in place and now we need to scale up to deliver this new project, which really is a green field site when it comes to technology.

“We are looking for front and back end developers who are passionate about producing good quality code and who are keen to contribute positively to our working environment. NCFE is an exciting place to be a developer, you’ll be directly involved in the design and implementation of solutions and services using latest tools, technologies and best practices as well getting the chance to work alongside a friendly, goal driven team.

“As well as a competitive salary, employee benefits programme and flexible working hours, when you join our team you will have high spec equipment and an MSDN Ultimate licence, using emerging technologies to shape the future of awards and learning.

“We are looking for the best in the business who can help drive NCFE forward from the inside. We need people with a working experience of developing C# and .Net based applications as well as experience in developing web-based applications and services using ASP.Net, MVC and Web API. We always encourage our team to continue their personal development and so we have dedicated time and resource for up-skilling and attending workshops and conferences as well as £200 to develop your own interests where we’ve seen people take classes in everything from singing to pet first aid!”

Nigel Hope, software delivery manager at NCFE said, “The most rewarding aspect of being part of the NCFE team is the impact that we have across the whole organisation. It’s great to see the projects that we develop being used to ease pressure on our colleagues across the organisation, especially if the project has been tricky or taken a long time to work through.

“NCFE, and the North East in general, is a great place to develop your career and I would encourage anyone looking to take the next step in their career to look into becoming part of our team.”
