Need for Better Leaders Fuels Sustained Growth at Harrogate Business

A Harrogate based leadership business has reported 277% profit growth for the third consecutive year, thanks to the growing demand for better business leaders.

Quarterdeck, providers of high level, effective leadership training has secured contracts with the likes of ASDA, B.Braun, Co-op and JCT600 over the past year. The boost in big name brands has seen the company record an incredible and sustained growth in profits since 2015.

The growth comes off the back of a substantial contract extension with Beijer Ref, having recently been named its ‘Supplier of the Year’. The global trading giant is the largest refrigeration and air conditioning wholesaling group in the UK and has enjoyed a fruitful business relationship with Quarterdeck since 2016.

With a recent survey* from the EEF revealing leadership and management skills need major improvement to tackle the UK’s ongoing productivity challenge, Quarterdeck’s ongoing increase in delegate bookings makes for continued optimism.

Laura Bouttell, MD at Quarterdeck said: “There’s long been a link between improved leadership and effectiveness in business so it’s great to see businesses are tackling productivity issues by investing in their people.

“We’re creating fantastic working partnerships with some amazing people from forward looking businesses such as Co-op, Beijer Ref, Hermes to name just a few.”

Family-run Quarterdeck provide high level, effective leadership training to a range of businesses including global giants well as many SMEs and smaller partnerships.

The Harrogate company has bold plans for 2018 including the launch of a brand-new way of delivering leadership training and a leadership programme that includes health and fitness.

The Masterclass Series has a unique approach – unlike other training programmes, once a company buys a seat anyone can attend, rather than being restricted to a single person.
