New Care expands its team

Ashley Carroll

Ashley Carroll, from Manchester, has been appointed by New Care as Resident Experience Manager.

In her new role, Ashley has been tasked with overseeing the Hospitality Services and Wellbeing teams at each of New Care’s six care facilities across the North West and Midlands.

Her main responsibility is to support non-clinical activities to ensure all residents receive the very best holistic care, emotionally, mentally, physically and spiritually.

Having worked for New Care for several years, starting off as a housekeeping assistant and progressing to Head Housekeeping and Hospitality Manager after completing NVQs in Housekeeping, Hospitality & Catering, Ashley has amassed a huge amount of knowledge and expertise in this sector.

She is well versed at leading New Care’s housekeeping and hospitality teams and has undertaken hospitality management at multiple homes.

Commenting on her new role, Ashley, aged 29, says: “I have thoroughly enjoyed working for New Care and over the years, my hard work and dedication has been recognised and rewarded with new opportunities to further develop my career.

“As Resident Experience Manager, I am able to combine my knowledge from both housekeeping and hospitality to ensure all residents experience excellent holistic care within each of New Care’s facilities. By understanding the importance of offering exceptional hospitality at all times and working closely with the Wellbeing teams to engage and stimulate residents, as well as build confidence, we can provide an unrivalled non-clinical service, which will ultimately compliment the medical care they receive.

“I am really looking forward to spending time at each care home, getting under the skin of the hospitality and wellbeing activities, and helping the team enhance its offering.”

CEO at New Care, Chris McGoff, added: “We are thrilled to have offered Ashley this new position. She has continually impressed us over the years, and she is a testament to what can be achieved with commitment and hard work.”

Away from work, Ashley enjoys traveling, fine dining and spending time with loved ones.
