New recruitment website launched by Equilibrium Asset Management

Equilibrium Asset Management has launched a dedicated website designed to attract, train and retain new talent as it pursues its ambitious targets.

The new website, which is devoted to attracting candidates who are “passionate about being the best they can be”, has also been created to showcase Equilibrium’s award-winning culture.

With a fresh and colourful design, the website displays plenty of information about the company’s culture and current vacancies, as well as many insightful stories from Equilibrium’s “happy campers”.

Managing Partner Gaynor Rigby said the recruitment website and new training academies will support the company’s “Vivid Vision 2021” and its aim to boost headcount to a record high of 110 within two years.

Gaynor said: “We believe that culture’s just as important as pay and benefits when attracting and retaining staff.

“Whilst we know that Equilibrium is a great place to work, which has been recognised by ‘The Sunday Times Top 100 Best Small Companies to Work For’ list, it’s still hard to show candidates what it’s like to work here.

“This new dedicated website gives the talent out there a much clearer picture of our working culture. It also contains information on our Diploma Academy and the full support we provide in helping potential recruits achieve their CII Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning.”

As part of this recruitment drive, Equilibrium has also created an internal training academy to develop its talent. Based around workshops and group debate, the academy is segmented into programmes who employees who aspire to be advisers, team leaders and specialists.

Once staff have been at the company for 12 months they can apply to join the academy. Those who pass an interview process are then placed in the programme most suited to them.

New starters at Equilibrium are also given the option of joining the company’s ‘Growth Zone’ which is a series of workshops – involving quizzes, podcasts and group debate – that cover topics such as how to communicate with different personality types and finding out the best way to learn and take on new information.

The Diploma Academy is a separate initiative and was formerly the company’s own graduate scheme. Launched in 2014, it has since been widened to accept those who haven’t come from a higher education background.

Gaynor added: “The launch of the academy and the recruitment and talent website are important steps in our journey.

“To continue to transform the way people think about their retirement and managing their wealth we feel we have to attract and retain the best people that complement our wide pool of existing talent.”

To further highlight its award-winning culture, Equilibrium is also in the midst of an Instagram campaign that aims to boost followers to 1,000 in the next three months. You can follow Equilibrium on Instagram at @equilibrium.am.

With 81 staff currently employed, Equilibrium specialises in all areas of wealth management, investment, pensions, tax planning and estate planning.
