New video service helps SMEs plan in uncertain times

Mark Wilson

The North West operation of BoardroomAdvisors has launched a free service to help SMEs and scale-ups affected by the Coronavirus crisis.

With many firms in lockdown, BoardroomAdvisors is offering them a free consultation with one of its experienced regional directors to help them to their situation, consider ways to adapt the changing circumstances and enhance their growth prospects over the longer-term.

The Growth Diagnostic service will be carried out by video link and firms will receive a detailed report and recommendations. It is completely free to all companies employing between 10 and 1,000 staff throughout the UK until the end of June.

BoardroomAdvisors provides part-time executive directors for commercial, operations and CEO roles. CEO John Courtney says: “While many businesses will be focused on immediate issues at present – such as cashflow problems or making the transition to remote working – once these are addressed, they need to take stock and start looking to the future.

Mark Wilson, who heads the North West region says: “Will demand resume in its current format or will the crisis reshape the market in some way? Firms will need to adapt. A crisis or a downturn in business creates an opportunity to make the business stronger going forward. What better time to review strategy to combat these unique circumstances now and to be in better shape when ‘normality’ resumes.

“Our experienced advisors have scaled business themselves and come through previous economic crises. They are ideally placed to help firms assess their situation in the current crisis and plan for the future.”

BoardroomAdvisors -which operates from Scotland to Cornwall with 12 regional directors and over 50 experienced advisors – will also be introducing a free Finance & Funding Diagnostic service to help firms assess their funding requirements in the current crisis.
