Cheshire/Warrington digital agency Carpe Diem teams up with industry leaders WP Engine and Media Chain to share exclusive new research data on Generation Z at ‘Opus Open House’ event

The session, expected to sell out, provides invaluable knowledge on how ‘Gen Z’ is shifting the dial for digital marketeers and brands across the UK

Warrington/Cheshire-based website and development agency Carpe Diem is welcoming north west businesses to a unique event exploring new Generation Z is influencing brand’s online interactions.

The agency, based in Pyramid Arts Centre, is bringing together the hosting powerhouse behind WordPress, WP Engine, and Manchester born social media experts Media Chain to explore the ‘Gen Z’ research.

The event, which will be Carpe Diem’s second “Opus Open House” of the year will be the first time the research data has been showcased outside the capital.

The session will help brands and youth-focussed organisations discover the mindset and behaviours of digital consumers born after 1996.

James Hall, Enterprise Consultant at WP Engine, will be presenting the research. He said: “Generation Z has a huge dependency on digital experiences, and they expect authenticity in what they consume online.

“That has a significant impact on how brands should present themselves through entertaining and relatable content. So, we’re keen to contextualise the next generation and explain why they’re the most important group of consumers for businesses, large and small.”

Alex Martin, Head of Content for Student Problems at Media Chain will also speak, contextualising the research with examples. He’ll share how campaigns on his channel, with more than ten million followers, have evolved where brands have responded to Gen Z.

Since establishing Warrington’s digital hub in Palmyra Square, website development house Carpe Diem has opened a dedicated coworking space for digital creatives and technologists called Opus.

“Since launching Opus, we’ve been keen to attract thought leaders,” said Saul Peake, Managing Creative Director. “So, to give access to this global research commissioned by WP Engine and bring Media Chain to our panel is a real coup.

“Through Opus, we’re bringing industry influencers and regional businesses together with entrepreneurs and investors, and this Open House reflects our intention to continually raise the bar and draw attention to the digital ecosystem that already exists here in Warrington.”

Doors open at 6pm with speakers due to take to the stage from 7pm.
