Now Healthcare Group appoints Lisa Wood as of Head of Communications

Europe’s largest digital healthcare provider the Now Healthcare Group (NHG), has boosted its senior team and brought in Lisa Wood as Head of Communications following a successful period of growth for the MediaCityUK based business.

In only three years since launching (2014), the Now Healthcare Group (NHG) has disrupted the digital health market with its innovative tech and digital solutions and is predicting by the end of 2017 they will be supporting upwards of 20 million people across the world.

Lisa, who has most recently been working as a freelance communications consultant, has extensive experience in communications and brand building and spent 8 years delivering creative communications and marketing for The Peel Group on the prestigious MediaCityUK development.

Talking about her new role, Lisa said: ‘Technology has completely changed the way we live and is continually revolutionising our lives. The digital health industry is of huge importance to improving our physical and mental health and I am thrilled to be working in such a pioneering business and sector. The vision and plans for the NHG are radical and I look forward to helping them build their brand and share their ground-breaking stories.’

The company recently became the first provider its field to be found by the Care Quality Commission (CQC), the government’s regulatory body for healthcare services, to be providing services that are safe, responsive, effective, well-led and caring. All doctors working for the platform are MRCGP-certified and hold current contracts with the NHS.
