NRL’s Sunderland team announce charity partnership with Grace House

Grace House, Sunderland

NRL’s North East recruitment team have pledged their support for local charity Grace House.

The recruitment team, located near to Grace House in Sunderland, will partner with the charity throughout 2020 to provide support and fundraising.

Grace House provide families with much needed short break and respite care for children with complex difficulties and autism. They provide a safe and fun home from home, for families to escape from everyday life at their centre in Southwick, Sunderland.

The recruitment branch will work together as a team to use their company charity leave days to provide hands-on assistance at the centre, as well as setting themselves an ambitious fundraising target. Colleagues were keen to combine their charity efforts to support one cause, with Grace House chosen after seeing first-hand the difference they make to families in the local community.

Discussing the new partnership Laura Forbes, Corporate Fundraiser at Grace House commented, “We’re really excited to bring NRL’s Sunderland team on board as a corporate supporter in 2020 and look forward to working together in partnership over the coming year.”
