Oldham-based IT firm tackles dementia in charity football match

An IT consultancy based in Greater Manchester will mark its fifteenth year in business with a charity football match on 13th September 2018.

Aspect IT will go head to head with fellow Oldham-based business, Web Applications UK, in support of the Alzheimer’s Society; a charity dedicated to helping people affected by dementia.

The match, which will take place at Soccer Factory in Rochdale and kick-off at 7pm, is a celebration of the firm’s fifteenth birthday. Guests are invited to watch the match and make a small donation to the cause.

Aspect IT will also donate £15 for every goal scored, up to a maximum of £200.

Established in 2003 by directors, Peter Dorotiak and Ian Howarth, Aspect IT provides IT services to small and medium sized businesses in Greater Manchester.

The Alzheimer’s Society is an organisation significant to director, Ian Howarth, whose family has recently been affected by the disease.
Commenting on the match, Peter said:

“We’re thrilled to be able to celebrate the last fifteen years as a team, doing something we all enjoy. It’s great to be able to get out of the office and do activities together outside of work. We’re confident we’ll be the winning team of course, but the main thing is to bring our team together, whilst raising money for a fantastic cause.”

Donations for the event can also be given through Aspect IT’s JustGiving page.
