The Parklane Group, Leeds-based property and leisure experts, has expanded its team with the appointment of a new group sales manager, Anthony Mackle.
Anthony brings with him nearly a decade of experience from property regeneration company, Urban Splash. In his new role within the Parklane Group, he will look to drive sales across the company’s portfolio of brands, including Parklane Properties, RentInc, IconInc and Leeds Golf Centre as well as work closely with the marketing team to ensure the successful alignment of both the sales and marketing strategies.
Welcoming him to the firm, managing director of the Parklane Group, Naveen Ahmed, said: “Anthony’s valuable experience makes him a perfect fit for the company and a very exciting appointment for us. His passion for the property industry is essential and we are pleased to welcome him on board to help grow the Parklane Group and support our ambitious plans and vision for the Company.”
During his time at Urban Splash, Anthony lead a large sales team that was responsible for the property sales, rentals and building management of up to 1000 units in city centre developments, such as Lakeshore in Bristol and Park Hill in Sheffield.
Commenting on his appointment, Anthony said: “I am very excited to have joined the Parklane Group. I look forward to inputting my creative direction to drive the Company forward.
“I have big plans for Parklane Properties and my first focus is reaffirming the brand’s credentials as the ‘go-to’ city centre agent for developers and landlords. I’m pleased to have brought in an initiative this month to remove admin fees for tenants and provide new landlords with 0% management fees for six months. With the new tax legislation coming into force in April, we believe this will be a welcome offering to new customers.
“The portfolio that the Parklane Group has to offer both landlords and tenants in terms of types of accommodation is fantastic and it presents a new sector focus for me including student accommodation, and as a lover of golf, I can’t wait to work with the home of modern golf – Leeds Golf Centre!”
