Lisa Astley, from Bolton, has been appointed registered manager at Bridgewater Manor, New Care’s latest care facility located on Walkden Road in Worsley.
The £15million, state-of-the-art 71 bedroom care home opened late last year and with over 17 years’ experience in care home management, Lisa is perfectly placed to fully establish the facility.
Lisa joined New Care 12 months ago and was previously the registered manager at the company’s award-winning care home in Sale; Ashlands Manor.
Lisa has been involved in Bridgewater Manor throughout the build process, and she has personally welcomed the first residents.
Lisa’s key objective is to ensure all residents have a safe, caring and fulfilled time living at Bridgewater Manor, enjoying the comfortable care facility and its vibrant community.
As registered manager, Lisa is tasked with the overall operational responsibility for the day-to-day running of Bridgewater Manor, its residents and staff.
She says: “I have enjoyed being involved in the development of Bridgewater Manor and am delighted the care home is now open, with residents moving in regularly. Bridgewater Manor is a new, expertly designed, purpose-built 71 bedroom care home in Worsley. It features fully furnished bedrooms, each with a private en suite wet room, plus a selection of communal lounges and dining rooms. It also has a nail bar, hairdresser, landscaped gardens and outdoor terraces to the first floor.
The care home provides outstanding residential and dementia care services.
