Rise at Seven, the search-first creative agency based in Sheffield and London turns one year old and reports £1.5 million turnover in its first year with plans to more than double that in the next 12 months.
The company is dubbed one of the “fastest-growing agencies in the UK” right now, with its headcount rising from 2 to 24 people and a client roster spanning across the globe including UK, US, Europe and Canada including Missguided, ODEON, USwitch, GoCompare, GAME, Matalan, Cath Kidston and more.
The agency was founded in June last year, by Creative Director Carrie Rose and Technical SEO director Stephen Kenwright offering SEO, content, creative, and digital PR services.
Monthly revenue for the agency has increased 110% since lockdown began with an extra 5 members joining the team during the COVID-19 period due to increasing demand for digital growth from clients.
Rise at Seven is already known for disrupting the SEO industry here in the UK and for their already award-nominated work such as GAME Christmas Tinner, the viral Future Gamer campaign and more.
After just 7 months since launching, they opened an office in London making senior hires including PR director Will Hobson, and former SEO lead at Just Eat, Gerry White.
Co-founder, Carrie Rose, states “What was missing in this industry is a search led creative agency which not only delivered measurable results but made clients and brands feel AWESOME about it too. At Rise at Seven there is a drive to constantly disrupt – whether that’s our industry or our clients and no-one in the search industry has done this as of yet. Our search led approach to creative content has attracted the likes of Missguided, ODEON, GAME and Parkdean Resorts because brands are wanting something different but for it to work for Google and other search engines all at the same time.
We have connected creativity with industry-leading SEO to create better results than the biggest agencies in the world ever could and we’re only going to get better. This year has been an amazing roller coaster, to say the least, but we have plans to more than double revenue in year 2 as well as our headcount expanding both our London and Sheffield offices. Culture is a huge part of what we do with a focus on hiring young, fresh, and ambitious talent to join the journey”.
Stephen Kenwright, also co-founder adds “Rise at Seven’s sheer growth really comes down to the fact that we’re different to any other agency. We can do the beautiful work that some of the best advertising agencies do and tie that back to search results. That’s why we’ve accelerated through lockdown – we’re the perfect fit for marketers who think long term and who want their social, PR, and creative work to ultimately drive sales through their websites.”
The agency is moving into a new 3000sq ft office in St Paul’s Place Sheffield city centre and has secured a bigger London base to meet its growth targets too.
