Sheffield-based legal firm PM Property Lawyers has joined the top UK conveyancing firms as a member of The Conveyancing Association.
Members of the Association collectively handle 20% of residential property transactions in England and Wales and 70% of re-mortgage transactions. They work together to improve the conveyancing process for clients, formulating and implementing best practice.
PM Property Lawyers, the specialist conveyancing arm of PM Law, will be fully involved in the Association and is a strong supporter of the Association campaign to modernise the conveyancing process.
Harvey Harding, managing director of PM Property Lawyers, commented:
“It’s great to have recognition for the hard work and commitment of our team. Even better is the opportunity this gives us to meet other like-minded conveyancers and help shape the profession so it meets the needs of the 21st century. Becoming a member is a big step forward in the evolution of our business and will help us to improve our working practices and enhance the services we offer to our clients.”
PM Property Lawyers handles an average of 250 property transactions each month and has a team of over 40. The firm has instigated a training programme to continually increase skill levels and improve customer service (the ‘PM Passport’). Together with The Conveyancing Association’s training academy, this provides a unique development programme to benefit both clients and team members.
