The Manchester-based auction house, which specialises in selling end of line stock, surplus stock, and customers returns on behalf of high street retailers, has launched a new app.
The live and online auctions, which Simon Charles Auctioneers organise, give people the chance to buy high street and retail products such as furniture, electronics, cosmetics and more, for a fraction of the RRP. And now, customers will be able to join and bid simply using the newly launched app.
The biggest advantage of the auction app is the ability to see exactly how much customers would pay if winning an auction, including all fees (which is Buyers Premium fee, VAT and online purchase fee) before they hit bid.
Using the app, customers will receive notifications when outbid to ensure they are always up to date with their ‘Watch List’, which can be created and used to watch all items that customers would like to purchase.
Search and Category functions are also available within the app to help find the lots that customers are interested in.
Sharlene Rothwell, from Simon Charles Auctioneers & Valuers, said: “We are noticing more and more customers joining our auctions online and for that reason, we created our new app making auction bidding as accessible as possible.
“The app is proven to be a popular option for purchasing items through our auctions, we have officially launched the app in February and are already seeing people actively using it.”
Customers can also manage their account, view and make payments simply using the app.
The Simon Charles Auctioneers & Valuers app is now available on Google Play and App Store.
