Emma Holgate-Lowe, Founder of The Lowedown

Gin makers SIS4ERS DISTILLERY has appointed The Lowedown to run its press office and launch a new ‘top secret’ line in Spring 2021.

The Salford-based distillery tasked the PR consultancy to support with the launch of its ‘Gin in a Tin’ range and its pandemic-themed ‘Home at 10’ peach gin. The Lowedown will also launch an exciting new product in March.

With many of the SIS4ERS tours and tastings on hold due to lockdown hospitality restrictions, The Lowedown is also working to drive awareness for virtual events and supporting webshop sales.

Speaking about the client win, Emma Holgate-Lowe, founder of The Lowedown, said: “SIS4ERS DISTILLERY has a wonderful portfolio of products, with a rich Salford family history. We look forward to providing a proactive and reactive press office to get the brand in front of the media and shoppers to the webshop.

“It has been a changeable year for lifestyle media but the interest in independent and local businesses continues to grow. PR is a great tool for giving businesses like SIS4ERS a voice in the pandemic and bringing boutique products to life.”

Based in Didsbury, South Manchester, The Lowedown launched in January 2020 and specialises in unique storytelling, press office media relations and media training.

Building a portfolio of food and drink clients, The Lowedown recently signed a PR launch projects with Manchester’s Black Milk and Cumbria’s free-from bakeries ‘We Love Cake’ and ‘Bells & Whistles’. Current clients include SEVEN BRO7HERS Brewing Co.

Mrs Holgate-Lowe added: “I feel extremely fortunate to have worked with some fantastic lifestyle brands over the last 12 months. We pride ourselves on going above and beyond for our clients to provide an affordable, value for money service with clear results.”
