Slater and Gordon Bolsters Leadership With Series of Senior Appointments

Slater and Gordon UK has announced a series of new senior appointments as it strengthens its leadership under new owners.
The Manchester-based firm has bolstered its executive team, promoting talent from across the firm as well as hiring a number of experienced figures from the business world, as part of a drive to become the UK’s number one provider of consumer legal services.

Former managing director of Sainsbury’s Argos Financial Services and ex-GE Capital executive, Martyn Beauchamp, takes up the newly created role of Chief Customer Officer. Martyn has been at the forefront of international consumer businesses for more than two decades and will also join the Slater and Gordon board.
He is also joined by Lynda Greenshields, who becomes Chief HR Officer having previously worked in blue chip and private equity businesses, including as the Group HR Director for Acromas covering Saga, The AA, and Allied Healthcare.

Alicia Alinia and Matt Jarvis are promoted from their current roles to join the executive team as joint Managing Directors of Personal Injury Services.

Emma Holt, previously Slater and Gordon’s Head of Personal Injury, has been appointed Chief Risk Officer.

The new appointments follow the arrival earlier this year of David Whitmore as Chief Executive and David Neave, a former Chairman of LV= , as non-executive director.
David Whitmore said: “These appointments are a clear statement of intent.

“We have set ourselves the goal of being the UK’s leading provider of consumer legal services and are building an extremely experienced and capable team focused on delivering on that ambition.”
