Southwest Telephone Joins Forces with Doncaster's Key IVR payment solutions

Nevada based local exchange carrier Southwest Telephone (SWTel) has partnered with Doncaster-based cloud payment solutions provider Key IVR to offer US organisations a competitive selection of tailored telecommunication and payment services.

Southwest Telephone’s mission is to provide effective services to an underserved market. Both businesses share the belief that no two organisations are the same, listening and responding to the customer’s specific needs to deliver a successful offering.

Steve Richardson-Frankton, Enterprise Sales Manager at Key IVR said:

“Southwest Telephone are an ambitious provider who are looking to differentiate themselves from the main players in the market by offering the best-of-breed telephony solutions to their customers. We’re very pleased to be joining them in this mission and improve the payment security for many American organisations. As Key IVR’s solutions are suitable for virtually any telephony setup, with no on-site installation, this is a promising partnership”

Data breaches pose a serious threat to organisations, and in light of the recent AMCA incident, have recently impacted millions of US citizens. Security stakeholders are being pressured to identify the risks involved when customers provide their sensitive payment card details. This could be over the phone with a contact center agent, via a webchat, SMS or online. A key part to reducing risk is to limit the amount of customer information an agent is exposed to, without adding obstacles to securing a sale. With cloud-based payment solutions, such as Agent Assisted Payments, organisations can process a secure card payment from a customer that is compliant to the highest level of the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). No sensitive details are seen by an agent and no cardholder data is stored on the organisation’s network, drastically reducing the risk when processing a sale.

Guy Connor, President of Southwest Telephone said:

“We’ve had some exciting conversations about the future of Southwest Telephone and Key IVR’s combined offering to the market. We’re passionate about offering scalable and flexible solutions. Also, as we’re both supplier agnostic, there’s no limit in offering the most effective solution to organisations. Our customer’s success is our success”
