Huddersfield-based structural glass manufacturer Specialist Glass Products has won the Eaton Smith Business of the Year Award 2020/21.
Over the past 48 months, the family-run business has invested over £6 million to expand and equip their facility with the latest state-of-the-art machinery, currently allowing them to process, cut, toughen, bend and laminate glass up to 6000mm x 3210mm.
The continuous investment in high-tech equipment and its premises has effectively quadrupled SGP’s production capacity, ensuring that they can meet the requirements of larger projects, short lead times and produce glass cost-effectively.
With tremendous growth and development over the past 12-months, the specialist glass manufacturer was among eleven companies shortlisted for the Business of the Year Award after previously being crowned Business of the Month.
The award in Association with the Mid Yorkshire Chamber showcases the best businesses demonstrating innovation and outstanding contribution to Kirklees, Calderdale and Wakefield.
