Success for Yorkshire Architects at North West Property Awards

A Huddersfield-based architectural practice has been recognised for its work designing a residential development at the North West Property Awards (NWPAs).

Fibre Architects picked up “The Best Small New Homes Development 2018” accolade at last weeks NWPAs held at Liverpool Metropolitan Cathedral’s Lutyens Crypt amongst 300 guests.

Fibre’s winning development, City Residence, was shortlisted alongside three other outstanding schemes from areas in the North West designed by Calderpeel Architects, TJ Thomas & Redwing Living.

The £3m development of 30 three and four bedroom homes located to the north of Liverpool City Centre was designed with both families and professionals in mind. The scheme comprised a mixture of semi-detached and terraced properties, with some built over three floors to be both contextual and maximize development values.

Managing Director, Martin Booker commented: “To win such a prestigious award is testimony to our team’s hard work in delivering such a high quality project. We’re really proud to have been recognised amongst some excellent schemes.”

Fibre Architects was founded in 2009 by Martin with fellow director Michael Owens, having previously worked together in Huddersfield. The architectural firm, which is soon to celebrate a decade in business, has since grown to become a strong team offering a boutique approach to Architectural Design.
