Taylor&Emmet LLP is opening the doors of its new Rotherham office to local residents needing initial advice about family law matters.
The firm’s experts in childcare and family law are holding free drop-in sessions at their High Street premises in the town centre every Tuesday from 11am to 2pm.
Visitors are invited to call into Taylor&Emmet’s office for confidential guidance on a wide range of matters, including divorce and separation, domestic abuse, care proceedings and adoption.
Dawn Lowry, Taylor&Emmet’s Rotherham-based family law specialist and qualified mediator, said: “If you are trapped in an abusive relationship or social services are involved with your family, it can be difficult to take the first step and ask for help. By holding these informal drop-in surgeries, we hope local people will be encouraged to seek our assistance. We can explain your legal position and put you in touch with other agencies that provide vital support.”
Taylor&Emmet’s newest office opened in Rotherham last month with in-house residential conveyancing and family law teams. The firm’s full range of business and personal legal services are accessible, however, as space is available for members of other departments to meet clients by appointment.
