Sheffield’s Taylor&Emmet LLP has announced a raft of promotions to recognise the individual contributions made by talented staff to the firm’s ongoing growth and development.

A total of 16 solicitors and support personnel have been rewarded, representing continued investment in both personal and business legal services.

Management changes include the promotion of Caroline Blair and Sharna Poxon to finance and HR director respectively. Both are key members of the senior leadership team and have been at the heart of initiatives to transform Taylor&Emmet’s operational processes. In addition, residential conveyancing specialist, Sarah Khatib, takes on the role of technical property partner, whilst probate expert, Richard Barlow, will head up the firm’s Bakewell office.

Four solicitors have been promoted to senior associate, including clinical negligence’s Tasmin White, childcare expert, James Gascoigne, Helen Millard from residential conveyancing and John Tunnard a member of the inheritance, will and trust disputes department. A further eight individuals have been granted associate status.

Steve Hinshelwood, Taylor&Emmet’s chief executive, said: “We feel extremely proud to have so many dedicated and ambitious employees working for the firm. Their contribution is unique, each bringing different experiences and skills to the table, which makes for a diverse and rich cultural pool of talent. This, in turn, enables us to continue to strengthen our partnership and provide clients with services that are second to none.”
