Tea Advent Calendar Launched after KickStarter Campaign

Tea Revv, a brand new, fun and proper tea brand, has been given 300% backing to launch a tea advent calendar through a KickStarter campaign.

Founded by 24 year-old Joe Howard, a former gift shop owner, Tea Revv sells a whole range of exciting tea, from renowned teas, to blends, as well as some crazy flavours. Selling loose leaf teas in two-cup packs, Tea Revv aims to encourage people to enjoy proper tea in their own way.

Having launched his website in 2016, Joe wanted to expand on the brand and give people a chance to try a greater range of teas in one hit. He settled on creating a tea advent calendar – a beautifully designed box filled with 24 packs of loose leaf teas in a range of seasonal flavour such as Run Gingerbread, Pumpkin Pie Chai and Spice Apple Pie.

In order to raise the funds to launch the calendar, Joe created a campaign through KickStarter, an enormous global community designed to back creative projects, looking for £1000 of investment. Since setting up the campaign Joe has received 300% backing from 99 backers across the world.


“I thought long and hard about my pitch in order to woo potential backers,” explains Joe. “The fact is, we’ve come up with a really lovely product. It looks fantastic, and the concept of receiving 24 different loose leaf teas to experiment with is a great gift for any tea lover. What can I say, our backers are as crazy about tea as we are!”

“We are not your standard tea company, you won’t catch us burning you at the stake for not brewing your English breakfast at 97.5 degrees for 240 seconds precisely. We also won’t look at you like you have three heads if you don’t know the difference between black and green tea! We want to make proper tea understandable, easy to buy and easy to brew,” adds Joe.
