Jessica Tucker, Managing Director of Social Allies, registered the company in 2019 after a ten year stint in the marketing industry. Since then, Social Allies has evolved into a full service agency, offering graphic design, illustration, animation, paid ads and full-social media management.
“I registered the company and the pandemic hit and suddenly everything changed. However, we have fought hard against the obstacles and found ways to grow despite everything. That really is down to my team and the quality of the services we provide,” says Jess.
The company started with just three employees. Now, Social Allies operates as a team of eight, with plans to expand further by the end of the year. Investment in training, upskilling and equipment has been fundamental for Social Allies’ growth from a start-up to an established agency with proven expertise.
“Ultimately, Social Allies pride ourselves on being an extension of our clients’ business. We are a diverse and down to earth team that are powered by creativity and driven by results. I think this is what sets us apart,” Jess explains.
Jess, who received start-up funding from Northern Stable, bought out her investors in the first twelve months of trading, reflecting the success of her business model. The agency now provides Digital Marketing support for over 50 of the regions’ leading businesses.
“The support from Northern Stable really helped get my business off the ground. They saw something they believed in and that really gave us the drive to succeed, and we did.”
