The Bank Pub has Opened in Bury, Greater Manchester

Bury locals have welcomed a brand-new pub this month as The Bank has taken over the former Yates’ site from Thursday 7th November following a major investment of £200,000.

Located on Market Street, the venue has undergone a complete transformation and is set to become Bury’s go-to pub. Locals can expect a complete rehaul, with a new bar and dancefloor, creating a modern touch throughout.

Brand-new TVs have been installed to ensure viewing any sporting event is a great experience at The Bank, starting with the England v Montenegro Euro 2020 qualifying game and the highly anticipated Anthony Joshua fight.

Guests can watch all the action live, pint in hand, either at the main bar or in one of the bookable booths with individual screens that have been installed as part of the refurb.

The pub will also host a regular schedule of live music and will have plenty of events running through the week to keep guests entertained. Thursday is home to ‘#loaded’ nights, with selected drinks available from £1.75.

The Bank has opened with a refreshing drinks menu, and customers can ‘get in the spirit’ with a selection of gins, dark rums and vodkas including Hendrick’s Summer Solstice, Beefeater Blood Orange and Verano Watermelon gin. There are also party bowls and a selection of cocktails including the famous Pornstar Martini, classic Singapore Sling and a refreshing Mojito. Low and no-alcohol choices have also been added, including Gordon’s Ultra Low G&T and Cedar’s 0% gin.

Shelley Gibbs, General Manager of The Bank said: “This exciting investment has totally transformed the look and feel of our pub, and we are excited to unveil it to the people of Bury. The Bank is a warm and welcoming pub that the whole community can enjoy.

“As we enter the festive season, we are also taking Christmas bookings – so anyone looking for the best deals and a great place to celebrate need look no further!”
