The Know Group celebrates rapid growth with new appointments

L-R: Marian, Chris, Steven, Catherine

Liverpool-based hospitality company The Know Group has made a raft of new senior appointments following a period of rapid expansion.

Chris Evans has been appointed Revenue Manager and Marian Cotter Business Development Manager, strengthening the Group’s senior management team – in addition to Catherine Peers, the new Head of Brand and Marketing.

Steven Hesketh, CEO of The Know Group, said: “It’s a very exciting time for The Know Group, with our slew of recent openings and more opportunities in the pipeline.

“We’re delighted to welcome all our new staff members and are looking forward to seeing how they contribute individually to taking the company from strength to strength.”

Catherine Peers comes from Hill Dickinson LLP, where she was responsible for marketing communications and brand management. Prior to that, she was on the team at Marketing Liverpool, working across the Visit Liverpool and Liverpool Convention Bureau brands.

Marian Cotter’s CV boasts industry giants Radisson Blu, Baa Bar and Holiday, as well as heading up events and sales at Liverpool stalwart Hard Day’s Night Hotel.

Chris Evans joins The Know Group from Giant Hospitality, where as Managing Director he oversaw the opening of three new hotels and the acquisition of three further operations.

Steven added: “These additions to our workforce will be vital in the coming months and years as we continue to grow.”

The Know Group has experienced phenomenal success in 2018, having opened the Chester Townhouse & 1699 Brasserie, expanded its Liverpool “poshtel” concept Sleep Eat Love and welcomed its third Love thy Neighbour eatery to the Hatton Garden area of Liverpool.

Steven continued, “It’s a busy time, but we feel poised and ready for our next ventures and are excited to see each of our brands continue to develop.”
