Trio of deals as The Ringway Huddersfield fills up

Three expanding local businesses move to Huddersfield's Ringway Industrial Park

Three businesses are expanding into new premises at The Ringway Industrial Park, Beck Road, Huddersfield in deals negotiated by Carter Towler.

Automotive Alliance Group, one of Europe’s largest vehicle parts distributors, has moved into Unit 14 which is 6,000 sq ft; well-known large format printing company Leach has taken 5,430 sq ft in Unit 24 and resin driveway specialists The Resin Mill has agreed to let Units 7 and 8 which are 14,400 sq ft.

Commenting on the trio of deals Josh Holmes of Carter Towler said: “We are delighted these three flourishing companies are pushing ahead with their individual growth plans and have chosen to come to The Ringway. Since the landlord began their improvement programme we have seen a significant uplift in interest from a broad range of top quality tenants.

“There are just three remaining units now, all approximately 6,000 sq ft. To think that the whole estate, totalling 31 units could soon be fully occupied is remarkable considering the exceptional challenges of the past twelve months.”

Jonathan Hodgson of Howlings Hodgson added: “This is no longer the forgotten estate of West Yorkshire. It’s now a credible trade park which is competitively priced and positioned to receive modern industrial occupiers. The recent lettings are testament to this and with strong interest in the remaining units, we expect the estate to be fully let this year.”

Located on Beck Road adjacent to the Huddersfield ring road, The Ringway Industrial Park provides direct access to the town centre and junctions 24/25 of the M62. Existing tenants include Tool Station, Rexel, Edmundson Electrical, Crown, Johnstone’s Paints, Simply Door Handles and Kirklees Council.
