Turtle Bay don’t like cricket. They love it!

The Windies (West Indies cricket team) have touched down in the UK, the pink ball has been thrown and the series is underway. But while it’s sure to be a tough and testing eight weeks out in the middle for two of the best sides in the world, the Caribbean cricketing tourists have ensured that they can enjoy a true taste of home after play each and every day.

Turtle Bay – the home of all day and night Caribbean social eating and drinking – will be hosting the West Indies team so they can soak up the colourful vibes and explosive flavours for which the restaurant is known for after the close of play, or ‘stumps’.

To make sure everyone hits a six, Turtle Bay has also renamed two menu classics to celebrate the team, the ‘Windies Jerk Burger’ and the ‘Windies Iced Tea’, both priced at £6, with the cocktail also available on a 2-4-1 offer. Turtle Bay media followers and newsletter subscribers will also be able to get in on the action with a free cocktail.

The famous side has also made sure that its tour takes in not just some of England’s most celebrated cricket grounds but also a Turtle Bay restaurant in every match town too, with the side booked in to visit several Turtle Bay venues including Bristol, Derby, Leeds, and Manchester.

Turtle Bay is a restaurant that celebrates the lively, soulful and, above all, delicious experiences that the vibrant Caribbean has to offer – from bold flavours to laid-back ‘liming’ – it’s the epitome of the Caribbean experience, and all served up against the backdrop of an unrivalled soundtrack. So, it’s no wonder that the Windies team bowled into a Turtle Bay for their first night in the UK to enjoy a taste of home.

Turtle Bay restaurants will be poised at every test location to ensure the team keep up strength and will no doubt offer plenty of sunshine-inspired cocktails once the hard competition comes to an end.
