Village Hotel Club Newcastle has opened the doors to its brand-new business club concept – VWorks – which will help support and promote the needs of local businesses and entrepreneurs by offering a place for local people to work, connect and network.
Local businesses and individuals looking for a smart, creative and innovative environment to work from will enjoy the modern hot-desking spaces – equipped with super-fast Wi-Fi, free printing and photocopying, free energising refreshments and flexible bookings via Village Hotel Club’s digital app.
Tailored to the needs of the local area, VWorks boasts impressive meeting rooms fitted with sharp, reactive technology and a comfortable lounge area perfect for relaxed meetings.
Jason Dalus, General Manager of Village Hotel Club Newcastle, said: “We’re thrilled to unveil our new VWorks facilities and look forward to welcoming the Newcastle business community. Local businesses are at the heart of our community and we’re thrilled to offer a space that supports and promotes the needs of business owners and entrepreneurs enabling them to network, connect with mentors and make the most of our flexible working environment.”
In addition to the meeting rooms and lounge area, smaller meeting pods will also be available to accommodate private meetings for two to six people and can be hired on an hourly basis for impromptu get togethers and video calls. Larger meeting spaces, suitable for up to 20, are also available for larger conferences and events – all of which can be booked easily via the Village Hotel Club app. As well as flexible space, VWorks offers its business club members unique access to resources, information and seminars, designed to help them learn, connect and grow.
In her role as VWorks’ Local Business Ambassador, formidable business woman Baroness Karren Brady CBE, hosted VWorks’ first ‘Tales from the Boardroom’ seminar series earlier this year, exclusively for its business network and more seminars are due to take place in the coming months. Village Hotel Club and Karren will also be hosting the inaugural VWorks Awards next year, celebrating the achievements of the best local businesses.
VWorks comes as part of Village Hotel Club’s ambitions to be more than just a hotel – but rather a place for local communities and businesses to meet and connect. The opening in Newcastle is the latest VWorks to open, with more expected to open across the UK over the coming year.
A variety of VWorks membership options are available for those looking for a fixed base, hotdesking flexibility or a professional spot to work on an ad-hoc basis. Fixed desk memberships come with a whole host of additional perks and benefits, including discounted accommodation and gym memberships at Village. Monthly membership starts from £148 per month, with day passes available from as little as £25. To find out more information or book a free visit, visit Village Hotel Club’s website.
