Visualsoft Appoints New Head of People

E-commerce and digital agency Visualsoft has appointed Alix Bolton as Head of People.

As part of this new role, Alix will lead on shaping and developing the organisation’s people strategy, as well as implementing and embedding HR policies and procedures, which ensure that the organisation’s culture is aligned with its plans for growth.

Prior to joining Visualsoft, Alix was HR Business Partner at Quorn for over five years, where she worked on a number of key HR and business change programmes across multiple locations in the UK and internationally.

Visualsoft, which designs, builds, supports and markets online stores for UK retailers, now has more than 200 staff across offices in Teesside, Newcastle and Manchester, and plans to continue its impressive growth journey in 2018.

Alix, who has a passion for people and improving workplaces, said: “It’s such an exciting time to be joining Visualsoft – the business is 20 next year and is entering an important period of growth. The company already has an impressive employee benefits package, with fully flexible hours and unlimited holidays, so I’m looking forward to building on this and developing its people practices further to truly make Visualsoft a great place to work.”

Dean Benson, CEO of Visualsoft, said: “We are delighted that Alix is joining us with her fantastic track record in delivering positive organisational change. Our people are at the heart of everything we do and so she will play an instrumental role in helping to shape and manage our people strategies so that we can continue to attract, develop and support the very best in talent.”
