Warrington Homes Take Off On Old Airforce Site

Miller Homes’ Woodville Place development located on Lingley Green Avenue, opened its doors to two new show homes for the very first time over the weekend. On Saturday 25th November, Miller Homes unveiled the stylishly designed 5 bedroom Jura and 4 bedroom Buchan house types and welcomed over 100 Warrington house hunters.

The development of 200 homes with a range of 2, 3, 4 and 5 bedroom houses is uniquely built on an old American airbase previously known as Burtonwood airfield, active during the Second World War. The launch was a perfect opportunity for people to talk to sales advisors about the types of houses on offer, as well as the range of schemes available.

Home hunters visiting the American themed launch were treated to a range of sweet treats on offer including candy floss, thoroughly enjoyed by children who were visiting the development with their parents. Miller Homes pride themselves with supporting local businesses, and worked with local Warrington bakers Creative Cakes. In keeping with the theme, the cupcakes were decorated with American flags and P-47 Republic Thunderbolts, which operated out of Burtonwood during the war. Uncle Sam and G.I. Jane also made a guest appearance to welcome Warrington house hunters and provide great entertainment.

The first show home, with interiors designed by Abode, is the beautiful 5 bedroom Jura with the downstairs airy and bright, featuring an open plan kitchen and dining area with French doors that open out into the back garden. The upstairs leads to the master bedroom and en-suite, plus three further bedrooms, two of which are designed for children, featuring comic strip wallpaper contrasting with block colours.

The four bedroom Buchan was interiorly designed by Killer 5 with young families in mind, with a modern feel, exuding sophistication using a natural palette of greys with splashes of yellow and gold, a prominent feature in the living room. The upstairs is spacious, with both the master bedroom and bedroom two offering an en-suite. The three further bedrooms are all generous sizes with the landing also leading to a family bathroom.

Samantha Johnson, Sales Director for Miller Homes in the North West, comments: “After eagerly waiting to open our two new show homes at the Woodville Place development, we’re proud to be able to offer a range of high quality homes to meet demand in the local area.”

Leanne Feeley, Sales Manager for the North West, adds: “The Woodville Place show home launches were a great success and it was fantastic to see so many people showing interest in our stunning new Warrington homes. We thoroughly enjoyed welcoming over 100 people to the development to view the beautiful Jura and Buchan house types.”

Woodville Place is located on the edge of a 35-acre park with brand new shopping and leisure facilities, all of which are a part of a revitalization initiative. The development offers great transport links, as well as cycle paths and walking routes and easy access to the M62.
