William Hedley Reopens in Durham as The Three Bridges

Pub-goers in Durham are in for a winter treat this November as North Street pub, The Three Bridges, formerly known as William Hedley, reopened on Thursday 15th November following a £240,000 investment.

With several new HDTVs and two projector screens, the pub is sure to be a hit with sports and games fans alike. Offering a welcoming and relaxed environment to spend time with friends and loved-ones, the pub will also provide a wide range of well-priced food and drink with a selection of hand pulled ales including Doom Bar, Allendale Penine Pale, Maxim Swedish Blonde and Lilley’s Cider. The outdoor area has also received an upgrade with a brand-new look and feel.

The Three Bridges opens with an exciting new menu featuring an extended selection of veggie and vegan specials, as well as burgers, kid’s meals and much more. There will also be a whole host of special offers on food and drink throughout the week. Discounted big plates on Monday to catch the football game; burgers and a choice of drink on Tuesdays; Pie and a Pint on Wednesdays; a grilled dish and a drink on Quiz Night Thursdays; any classic dish and a drink on Fridays; or a selection of small sharing plates on Saturdays will keep customers coming back for more.

General Manager Scott Guy is throwing a launch party for regulars and new customers on Friday 16th November from 7pm. All will be welcomed with live acoustic acts and tasting canapes to show off the new menu.

Scott says: “We are incredibly excited to re-launch our pub to the people of Durham as The Three Bridges. The new name brings an amazing new look for our interior and exterior, a great selection of well-priced food and an enviable range of gins, rums and whiskeys. We look forward to welcoming everyone in.”
