Leading North West promotional merchandise company Hatters are celebrating after a win at the Advantage Group brochure launch event for ‘Cover Design of the Year’.
Hosted at the 4-star Georgian country house hotel Sopwell House, the Advantage Group brochure launch takes place annually, bringing together distributors from across the country.
Lawrence Angelow, Director of My Advantage Ltd encourages distributors to think creatively when designing their brochure covers by recognising the ‘Cover Design of the Year’ at the annual launch event.
Hatters are only too aware of the importance of investing in company branding and to commemorate the 25th anniversary the team commissioned local Stockport artist Eric Jackson to design the front cover of the 2019 brochure.
The artwork refers to the iconic hatting industry in Stockport with an image depicting the Battersby Hat Works in Offerton – a symbol of the town’s industrial heritage and a representation of Stockport’s diligent workforce.
The anniversary has also inspired the team to reflect back on the company ethos and create their own list of values called ‘What Matters to Hatters’.
The charter outlines how the team would like the company to operate and treat customers, employees and anyone within their supply chain.
This charter includes truly valuing customers and consciously choosing ethical manufacturers. This list of values will help Hatters to recruit new employees based on their values moving forward.
Set up in 1994 by Managing Director Jo Shippen, Hatters have gone from strength to strength over the 25-year period boasting national and blue-chip brands.
Specialising in promotional merchandise, print management and product fulfilment – including ordering of stock, storage and delivery, the company prides itself on providing a truly personal service to its customers of which they have been recognised with numerous awards including bronze place in Totally Stockport’s Customer Service Awards.
