WorkMobile prepares for growth with senior appointment

Manchester-based WorkMobile, a cloud-based data capture specialist, has appointed a new business development manager to bolster its expansion plans.

With over four years’ experience in the built environment sector and eight years’ sales experience, Thomas Walley will play a key role in helping WorkMobile to expand its services across new sectors and drive the business forward.

Thomas has worked as an assistant quantity surveyor at J & S Seddon, and as a commercial manager at Laing O’Rourke and AMOS Developments, where he managed various building projects worth between £25,000 and £60 million. He later moved in to the sales industry, and for the past six years, he has been the sales and account manager at MRC Print Consultancy. During this time, he exceeded his new sales targets and developed partnerships with a wide variety of customers and suppliers.

In his new role at WorkMobile, Thomas will be responsible for identifying and developing new sales opportunities within new and existing sectors and building long term relationships with new clients to improve brand recognition and increase market reach.

Thomas said: “Having spent a large part of my career involved in the world of sales and business development, the role at WorkMobile seemed like the perfect fit. I’m extremely excited to be joining this ambitious team and look forward to helping the business grow and exceed its targets.”

Andrew Huntly, CEO of WorkMobile, said: “Thomas is an excellent addition to our senior team and his wealth of experience and expertise will be vital in helping us to drive growth. Our aim over the next year is to expand our product offering into new business areas that will benefit from our solution. We feel that almost every business sector has a use for a solution that saves time and money, whilst promoting compliance and minimising risk.

“This year certainly looks set to bring some exciting opportunities for WorkMobile and we’re really happy to have Thomas on board.”
