Yorkshire-based LCF Law appoints trio of property partners

Yorkshire law firm LCF Law has appointed three commercial property partners, Lynne Webster, Ann-Marie Casey and Harriet Thornton.

Lynne joins the firm’s Harrogate office from Freeths in Leeds, and has previously worked for Cobbetts and Walker Morris. With more than 20 years’ experience, Lynne will be working alongside solicitor Russell Burnett and consultant Richard Davis, to further develop the team’s offering in the town. She will also support the expanding commercial property teams across the firm’s Leeds, Bradford and Ilkley offices.

Ann-Marie Casey joined LCF Law as a secretary in 2003 and qualified as solicitor with the firm in 2008. She works for a range of clients with commercial property portfolios and also supports LCF Law’s corporate team dealing with the sale and disposal of dental practices. Ann-Marie was recently shortlisted for the ‘Rising Star of the Year Award’ at the Yorkshire Legal Awards.

Harriet Thornton joined LCF Law in 2005 and qualified in 2008. She supports clients with varying commercial property issues, but specialises in leasehold enfranchisement and lease extension work for residential properties. Harriet was recently recognised for her expertise at the ‘National Enfranchisement and Right to Manage Awards’, winning the ‘Young Professional of the Year’ category. Last year she was also shortlisted within the ‘Regional Professional of the Year’ category in the same awards.

Head of Property at LCF Law, Paul Anderson, says: “We are delighted to welcome Lynne to the firm and I am confident that she will continue to develop our growing commercial property work in North Yorkshire undertaken from our Harrogate office.

“Harriet and Ann-Marie’s rise to the role of partner is well-deserved and recognition of their experience, increasing expertise and personal achievements in real estate work over many years. We have a very strong real estate team based across all of our offices, and this is an exciting time for the team’s development as our division continues to grow and expand.”

Managing Partner at LCF Law, Simon Stell, who was recently named as the Yorkshire Lawyer of the Year at the Yorkshire Legal Awards, says: “All three are highly regarded in the market and bring specialist skills to their roles.”
