Yorkshire company wins prestigious healthcare business award

Inhealthcare has won the 2016 Medilink Yorkshire and Humber Healthcare Business award for the category ‘Partnership with the NHS’.

The Yorkshire-based digital health specialists overcame strong competition in their category to claim the award. Their work with the County Durham and Darlington Foundation Trust was deemed unrivalled in terms of patient outcomes, innovation and cost-efficiency.

Bryn Sage, CEO of Inhealthcare, comments: “We’re delighted to win this award. It reflects the success of the collaborative approach with our NHS partners, designing clinically led digital services that meet the vast array of NHS challenges. Our work with County Durham and Darlington Foundation Trust has proved incredibly worthwhile, and we look forward to creating new partnerships with other NHS organisations across the country in the near future.”

Inhealthcare works with the NHS to digitise the way in which care is delivered. In order to clinch the award Inhealthcare provided case studies which proved the value of their ongoing engagement and collaboration with the NHS. They showed how they are improving the efficiency and quality of patient care pathways while staying cost effective for the NHS.

“Time and time again, we’ve seen technology and digital innovation pointed to as the factor that will close the funding gap for the NHS, and these Awards are a great way to highlight partnerships like ours that are already working towards this goal.” Bryn Sage adds.

Winning the award puts Inhealthcare through to the Medilink Awards UK grand final in April, and an opportunity for Inhealthcare to be recognised as the best in its sector.
