Yorkshire-based data business aims to change organisations relationships with data

Data Revolution - making big data easier for businesses to utilise.

Launching this week, Wetherby-based Data Revolution is set to transform the relationship Retail and FMCG organisations have with data, by providing a unique out-sourcing solution to the growing problem of being swamped by data.

Utilising specialist technology and a wealth of experience, Data Revolution’s team of experts will work in partnership with organisations, taking their raw data from a multiple of sources and returning it in the form of user-friendly, actionable reports, tools and insights. Each format is designed specifically to meet individual business needs – integrated, automated and specific – critically it will be simple to understand and use. The ultimate benefit for businesses being that they will no longer need to crunch the data themselves, freeing their people up to focus on utilising the insights and the resulting commercial benefits.

Data Revolution is born out of feedback from the industry that businesses are receiving an ever- increasing amount of data, in different formats, from different sources, making its analysis and management increasingly time-consuming and complex. Talysis Managing Director and Founder Ed Roberts, a commercial data expert with over 20 years industry experience with businesses including Nestlé UK and Coca Cola Hellenic and Spar explains:

“The data available today requires a specialist infrastructure in terms of technology and expertise. Many organisations no longer have the in-house capability for this, as they battle along with the same tools they had ten or even twenty years ago. Our concept is simple. Data Revolution is there to take away the headache, to manage these disparate and complex data sources, and take responsibility for delivering the power of this data across your business, ensuring one version of the truth, without you having to get your hands dirty and leaving you free to concentrate on the day job.”
