Yorkshire FinTech Celebrates 10 Years and Global Expansion

Key IVR - Intelligent Paymeny Systems

Since it was founded in 2008, Key IVR has grown in size and service offering. In ten years, the organisation has grown from a small Doncaster based automated IVR provider, to a dedicated team of specialists offering a wide range of payment channels across telephone, web, SMS and mobile apps. Key IVR are helping organisations across numerous countries and sectors protect their customers with the highest level of security when processing payments. They’re trusted by top leading brands such as Brighthouse, Yorkshire Water, ASDA Pharmacy, Safestyle UK, Beaverbrooks and more.

The demand comes from a need to combat credit card fraud and avoid data breaches that have been hitting the public eye. British Airways and Marriott are just recent examples of malicious attacks on businesses that suffered severe consequences for several hundred thousand customers. By adhering to a strict series of guidelines called the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI-DSS), setup by the major card providers, organisations can strive to better protect their consumers by thoroughly assessing the security of their payment methods.

Many organisations are turning to Key IVR, a PCI-DSS Level 1 compliant service provider, to deliver advanced solutions that protect their customers. This reduces the risk of serious incidents and helps an organisation prove to customers that they take security seriously when handling their sensitive financial information. Card details such as the card number, expiry date and CVV code are passed straight to the bank when making a payment, so the company doesn’t have to store any valuable information that would otherwise be a prime target for an attack.

According to a global survey from KMPG around 56% of consumers are either ‘concerned’ or ‘extremely concerned’ about how companies handle their personal data.

The services are configured to work with an existing organisation’s setup and are considerably cheaper and quicker to deploy than an in-house solution.

Now with over 170 happy clients globally, 30 partners and £3 billion ($3.7 Billion) processed annually, Key IVR has grown to a company that is able to compete with some of the world’s leading payment providers. After a recruitment drive within every department, the end of 2018 saw Key IVR grow from 30 members of staff to over 50 and with offices in the UK, US, Moldova and Ireland, they intend to continue their expansion throughout the years to come.

Darren Wooding, CEO of Key IVR said:
“It’s fantastic to see how far Key IVR has come and I’d like to thank everyone involved in the organisation for helping us get here, we’re very excited to see what the future holds. Our team and service offering gets stronger every day but our mission to provide the highest level of payment security will never change.”

Key IVR plans to focus on further business expansions throughout 2019 and has sights on introducing its robust secure payment portfolio into additional international markets, to expand its customer base and better support their existing customers who operate at a global level.
