Leading Yorkshire law firm, Berwins is celebrating after being recognised in two categories by a prestigious national legal award body.
The firm’s head of Family Law, Danielle Day has been shortlisted as ‘Rising Star’, while Berwins’ marketing department is a finalist in the ‘Marketing and Communications Strategy’ award at the upcoming Modern Law Awards.
“To be recognised for this prestigious award is a huge honour to me personally, but it’s also a real testament to the fantastic family law team at Berwins, without whom this simply wouldn’t have been possible.” said Danielle, who is also recognised in legal directories Chambers and Partners and Legal500.
The awards identify legal talent and success in entrepreneurship. The judging panel puts a particular emphasis on those who are seen as changing the face of business strategy and development.
Commenting on the Marketing and Communications nomination, which has been made in recognition of the development and launch of the firm’s standalone technology arm Berwins Digital, Head of Marketing Martin Whincup added “This recognition comes at the end of a hugely exiting year, with growth in
key business areas and developments, particularly in our specialist sectors. To receive recognition for the strategy and implementation around one of those is a fantastic validation of the work the team has been involved in.”
The winners will be announced at a glittering awards ceremony, which will take place in February in Manchester.
